Candle styling

Set the bullish and bearish candle colors to whatever reads best for you - green/red, blue/orange, or anything else. Apply the choice globally so every chart matches, or override it per chart when you want one panel to differ. Candle colors live alongside the rest of the palette under Settings ▸ Chart Colors.

The Chart Colors settings with bullish and bearish candle color pickers

Each candle is colored by direction: bullish when it closes above its open, bearish when it closes below. Nocterm exposes both colors so the up/down distinction matches your preference and contrasts cleanly against your background and overlays. A global setting covers every chart; a per-chart override lets a single panel differ without changing the rest.

  1. Open Settings ▸ Chart Colors.

  2. Set the bullish color (candles that close up) and the bearish color (candles that close down).
