Focused panel & symbol linking

Click a panel to focus it - it picks up a highlighted outline. The focused panel is the one the side panels listen to: feeds like Active Setups and the trade ticket read from it, so changing its symbol updates them too. This is how a single click keeps your whole workspace pointed at one market.

Overview

Only one panel is focused at a time, marked by its outline. Side panels that care about a symbol - the Active Setups feed and the trade ticket among them - take their symbol from whatever is focused. Switch the focused chart to a new symbol and those panels switch with it, with no separate symbol picking.

How to use

1. Click a panel to focus it. Its outline highlights to show it has focus.

2. Change the focused panel’s symbol. The side panels that follow focus - the setups feed and the trade ticket - update to that symbol.

3. Focus a different panel to point the side panels at another market.

Tip

Treat the focused chart as the steering wheel: pick the symbol once on the chart and the setups feed and ticket follow, instead of setting the symbol in three places.
