Saving & persistence

Nocterm saves your setup for you. A moment after any change, your workspaces, panel layouts, and settings are stored automatically - and they restore on your next visit. There is no save button to remember and nothing to lose when you reload.

Overview

Saving happens in the background, debounced a moment after you stop making changes. When you come back, the terminal rebuilds the state you left: the same workspaces, the same panels, and the same fine-grained settings inside each one.

What gets saved

Indicators	Your indicators and their settings
Filters	Scanner and screener filter choices
Drawings	Saved per symbol

Theme	Your overall theme choice
Pattern enables	Which patterns are turned on

Tip

Because everything restores automatically, it is worth setting a workspace up carefully once - overlays, indicators, colors, and pattern enables included. It will be exactly there next time.

Note

Drawings are remembered per symbol, so your annotations come back on the chart they belong to rather than bleeding across symbols.
