Signal filters

Settings ▸ Signal Filters is the full gate that decides which setups reach you. Every detected setup is measured against these thresholds, and only the ones that clear them all show up in your feed. This page is the settings reference - the Signal filters feature article covers the why.

Overview

The filters act as one combined gate. A setup has to pass the quality thresholds - minimum EV, R:R, and win percentage - and clear the cost checks built from your fee percentage and minimum profit above fee. On top of that, you can require trend alignment and volume, restrict which timeframes report, and set a confidence floor so only well-supported setups make it through.

How to use

1. Open Settings ▸ Signal Filters.

2. Set the quality floors - minimum EV, R:R, and win percentage - to define what a worthwhile setup looks like.

3. Set your fee percentage and the minimum profit above fee so only setups that clear costs report.

4. Add context gates - trend alignment and volume - if you want them.

5. Use the per-timeframe toggles to choose which resolutions report, and set the confidence floor.

Options

Option	What it gates
Minimum EV	Drops setups below this expected value
Minimum R:R	Requires at least this reward-to-risk ratio
Minimum win %	Requires at least this win probability
Fee %	Your trading fee, used in the cost checks
Min profit above fee %	Requires this much edge left after fees
Trend alignment	Requires the setup to agree with trend
Volume	Requires sufficient volume to confirm
Per-timeframe toggles	Chooses which timeframes report setups
Confidence floor	Drops setups below a minimum confidence

Tip

Start with the quality floors and the fee checks - those do most of the filtering. Add trend, volume, and the confidence floor only if your feed is still noisier than you’d like.

Caution

Tighten too far and good setups never reach you. If the feed goes quiet, loosen the most aggressive gate - usually minimum EV or the confidence floor - before assuming nothing is setting up.
