Settings ▸ Live Trading is where you connect the desktop client that places real orders and choose how cautious order submission should be. Get the client connected, confirm it’s healthy, and pick your order safety mode before you trade live.

Overview

Live orders are routed through a desktop client, so this page first lets you connect and check it - you can see whether it’s reachable and ready before you rely on it. Then you choose your order safety mode. Arm asks you to confirm each order before it’s submitted. One-Click submits immediately, with no confirmation step.

How to use

1. Open Settings ▸ Live Trading.

2. Connect the desktop client and confirm its status shows healthy.

3. Choose your order safety mode - Arm or One-Click.

Safety modes

Mode	Behavior	Best for
Arm	Asks you to confirm before each order is submitted	Caution, deliberate entries
One-Click	Submits immediately, no confirmation	Speed, fast markets

Caution

One-Click sends orders the moment you place them - there’s no confirmation to catch a misclick. Use Arm until you trust your workflow, and check the desktop client is connected before you place anything live.

Tip

The connection check is worth doing at the start of every session - a stale or disconnected client means your live orders won’t route, so confirm the healthy status before you rely on it.
