Signing in

Nocterm signs you in through Auth0 Universal Login, including passwordless passkeys. Once you are in, your session persists across reloads - you stay signed in until you log out. Your tier (Scout, Trader, or Desk) is attached to your account, so the right features are available wherever you sign in.

The Auth0 Universal Login screen with a passkey option

Authentication is handled by Auth0’s hosted login, so your credentials never live inside Nocterm itself. You can sign in with a username and password or, where your device supports it, a passkey - a faster, phishing-resistant login backed by your device’s biometrics or PIN. After a successful login the terminal loads with your saved workspaces and your tier already applied.

  1. Open Nocterm and choose Sign in. You are taken to the Auth0 Universal Login screen.

  2. Sign in with your email and password, or pick passkey if you have one registered for this device. Passkeys use your device unlock (fingerprint, face, or PIN) instead of a password.

  3. You land back in the terminal with your session active. It survives a page reload, so you do not need to sign in again each visit.

  4. To end your session, use Log out. This clears the session and returns you to the sign-in screen.
