Oscillators reference

Oscillators draw in their own pane below the chart, on a separate scale, so they can swing through their own range without distorting price. Nocterm ships ten covering momentum and volume. Each has its own parameters and, where relevant, guide lines marking overbought and oversold zones.

A chart with RSI and MACD oscillators in panes stacked beneath the price chart

suggested 1280x720

Each oscillator opens in its own stacked pane so momentum and volume read independently of price. Several plot guide lines - RSI’s 30/70, MFI’s 20/80 - that mark conventional overbought and oversold thresholds. The defaults below follow common settings; all are editable from the indicator’s settings gear.

  1. Open the Indicators menu and add an oscillator from the Oscillators group. It opens a pane below the chart.

  2. Open its legend chip gear to set lengths, signal periods, and guide levels.
