Signal filters

The detector finds far more setups than you’ll ever trade. Signal filters are the gate: only setups that clear your thresholds reach the feed. Set them once to match how you trade, and the firehose becomes a shortlist.

Overview

Filters fall into two kinds. Toggles narrow by character - direction, trend alignment, volume, and which timeframes you watch. Quality gates set numeric floors from the odds engine - minimum EV, R:R, win rate, and a confidence floor - plus a fee model so a setup has to clear its own costs before it counts. A setup must pass every active filter to appear.

How to use

1. Open Settings ▸ Signal Filters.

2. Set the toggles first - pick a direction, a trend stance, the volume regime, and the timeframes you trade.

3. Then raise the quality gates to your standard. Tightening EV, R:R, and win % thins the feed to only the strongest shapes.

Filters

Trend alignment	Both / With-trend / Against-trend	Keep setups that agree with (or fight) the trend
Volume	Both / High / Low	Keep setups firing in this volume regime
Timeframes	Per-timeframe toggles	Show setups only from the timeframes you watch
Minimum EV	In R	Floor on expected value per unit of risk
Minimum R:R	Ratio	Floor on reward-to-risk
Minimum win %	Percent	Floor on the simulated probability of success
Fee %	Percent	Round-trip cost used in the profit math
Minimum profit above fee %	Percent	Target must clear costs by at least this margin
Confidence floor	Percent	Minimum detector fit-quality for the shape

Tip

Start loose and tighten. Set generous gates, watch the feed for a session, then raise the floor on EV and win % until only setups you’d actually take get through.

Caution

Filters that are too tight can silence the feed entirely. If nothing is firing, loosen the quality gates before assuming the market is quiet.
